The European Union recognizes as “Good Practice” the Arteale project Casas sin Gente para Gente sin Casa. The Empty Houses for the Homeless project helps refugees in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain find their homes by establishing strong trust between them and the owners of empty properties through the use of collaborative law and ‘conscious contracts’.
